Based in Wynyard Village, Wynd Design offers full service interior design across the North East of England and beyond. We can collaborate with you on all aspects of designing your perfect home, including detailed design and space planning, architectural drawings, implementation with architects, builders and craftspeople, lighting, furniture and window treatment selection, and the final finishing touches. And throughout the process, we can assist with budgets and project management. We are here to guide you through every step of the design process from idea to the finished result.

The journey to design for Christi began from childhood, having grown up in a family of builders in Nebraska, USA. Before setting up her design company, Christi spent 20 years working as a Chartered Accountant for large, global organisations. She brings extensive experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment and you can be assured your project will be run with efficiency and a detailed eye on the numbers and timeline.

Christi graduated with a Diploma of Higher Education in Interior Design from the prestigious KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London and spent a year working for a high-end residential interior design studio in London before setting up Wynd Design. She is a British Institute of Interior Design Registered Interior Designer®.

Wynd Design guided us through a full update of our TV/family room. This involved new wooden flooring, wall panelling, a fireplace, decorating, lighting, a built-in cabinet and soft furnishings (sofa, two arm chairs, footstool, cushions and blinds). Christi very quickly understood what we were looking for and produced a range of excellent layouts for discussion. Once we had agreed the layout, Christi brought dozens of fabric samples for our review. She arranged appointments for the relevant tradespeople to measure-up and took care of ordering fabric etc. Although Christi does use some luxury fabrics, she is conscious of any budget constraints and is happy to source appropriately. Christi is very flexible and easy to work with. We were somewhat indecisive clients, but she accommodated us pleasantly and professionally. She is also very efficient; everything happens swiftly and as promised and Christi lets you know immediately of any delays. Overall, we have really enjoyed working with Wynd Design and we are very pleased with the results. We would happily engage them again.
